Common questions

Do I need to pay to use an Eidos File?

No. The format, local file access, and core tools are not tied to a subscription. Your .eidos files remain yours to open, move, copy, and back up.

What does Eidos Sync cost?

Sync costs $5 per month or $49 per year with automatic card billing through Creem. From Account → Sync, you can instead use 5 or 49 Credits for one paid period; renewal from Credits is optional and requires explicit consent.

What does Eidos Publish cost?

Publish Free includes 10 public Markdown pages sharing 100 MiB, published from Eidos Lite after email verification. Pro costs $9 per month or $90 per year, with Eidos Files, Forms, protected access, and 10 GiB storage. Subscribe by card here, or use 9 or 90 Credits for one paid period from Account → Publish; Promotional Credits are spent first. Custom adds higher file limits and dedicated Runtime.

What are Eidos Credits?

Credits are prepaid service value, not cash or cryptocurrency. Purchased and Promotional Credits can activate eligible Sync and Publish periods from your account; Promotional Credits are spent first. Credits alone never start a service or automatic renewal.
