Frequently asked questions
Should I use LAN or cloud Sync?
LAN sync connects a phone and Eidos Lite on the same network, without a cloud account or subscription. Cloud Sync connects computers across networks and requires its own subscription.
Can I use my files offline or after ending a subscription?
Yes. Files already downloaded to your devices remain available to read and edit locally.
Can I restore earlier versions and resolve conflicts?
Graft keeps version history so you can review changes and restore saved states. Resolve conflicting edits in the desktop Sync panel. Keep an independent offline backup as well.
Is cloud Sync private? What if I forget my password?
Cloud Sync uses end-to-end encryption for file contents and version information. Keep your separate sync password safe: an account password reset cannot restore encrypted contents.
Account, device, display-name, and storage-size metadata remain visible to the service. Local files and content sent to Publish are outside this encryption scope.
